Is it really flattering when someone copies you?

Now people have been telling me oh don't worry you should take it as a compliment that people are copying your idea as it means you're obviously doing something right. But i didnt expect for people to be copying me so soon. There are a few 'publications' who were about something else then as soon as they saw my formula working they suddenly jumped on it and tried to rip it off! There is one in particular (who I won't name yet, but I may bring them out in the next issue of FU) lol but you know when someone copies your shit down to a T it's like OMG get your own swagger and stop jacking mine. But the thing about these copycats is most of them didnt study any form of media whereas I studied Journalism and I've always been interested in how journalist can make words mean whatever they want them to mean even if the person who said it didnt mean it that way. So as a journalist I can easily use these people to gain more publicity for my magazine but they wouldn't know how to do that to me. Plus I really aint trying to be a superstar (well as superstar writer but not like you know a famous person, oooh you know what I mean) so you will never see me pushing my face in every picture thats taken unlike other 'magazines'

I am actually about helping other people cuz like i've said in previous posts helping people achieve their dreams is helping me live out my dream of being a full time writer. This is my idea and like any good journalist I did a lot of reasearch before I even brought it out this is how I found a gap in the market for me and I did do something original and it's just pissing me off that certain 'magazines' are just ripping off my idea and trying to go to extreme lengths to study my magazine to see what else they can jack.I know it sounds like I'm whinging and if i spoke to you today you would've heard all this already but although I am a little flattered that someone wants to copy FU it's still annoying at the same time. Like I always say don't follow fashion, set the trend. It will always be FU Baby :-)
