FU does Barbados

Sooooo after a lot of planning I finally got to go back to the place I love... Barbados of course wooohooo and I didn't go by myself I was accompanied by my beautiful girlie's Reenii and Sasha from #TeamFU.
So 1st of all I though I would surprise Reenii with Sasha as I had previously told her that Sasha couldn't come and she was soooo gutted, so I thought I would just not tell her Sasha was actually coming and just let Sasha turn up at the airport and watch her reaction, cuz she's sooooo expressive.

Anywayz so I caught the 2am coach to Gatwick and had me a nice sleep OMG it was a good sleep and arrived at Gatwick looking like some really funky Japanese tourist. I had on my cartoon strip leggings a long white vest with a gold peach sign on it, my green wedge sneakers, a blazer, crazy accessories and my hair in kinky twists.

So I met miss Reenii who was looking very stylish in her black leggings loose top short black bomber jacket and some really cute flat knee highs (I was actually secretly jealous that I didn't wear my thigh highs like I had originally planned) lol

So we got checked in *cough cough* my bag was overweight....

Anywayz had the nicest breakfast at a Wetherspoons through duty free had a full English washed down with Chamomile tea and a Malibu and cranberry (just to get the holiday started)

Then we had a lot of time so decided to go upstairs and find some comfy chairs to nap on, omg Reenii was knocked out but I kinda slept light like a mama bear protecting her cubs and keeping an eye out for anything.

Eventually we got on the plane and them 2 slept now when I say slept they slept like it was a sleeping competition lol I was determined to watch some movies so I drifted in and out of sleep. Oh yeah we fly Virgin (of course) and were treated like rockstars we even had champagne woop woop.

Got to Barbados we all loved it our hotel was great and the staff were lovely...

And I can't be assed to type the rest so here it is in pictures, which lets face it, is a lot more fun :)

My day at Ascot

I didn't win any money at all which was shit, but I got the chance to dress up in a long dress which is something that I never EVER do. The weather held out which was cool, I did think it would be better than it was though. The highlight was definitely hanging out in the royal enclosure, now that was pretty cool, I guess we walked through with authority like we was supposed to be there and one of the guys on the door was too busy watching my colourful hair I guess he wasn't paying as much attention as he should've been. Oh well, it was still nothing special though.

Carnival Weekend Part 1 - Reading Carnival

So I was 'umming and arring' about whether or not to go I woke up Monday morning feeling drunk like proper pissed which is strange because the night before I literally drank just water no alcohol I aint drank for a while now. Anywayz I felt like shit like the room was spinning so I was like oh i dunno if I'm going. I was supposed to be there from 11 to help send off the floats etc but that wasnt happening. Plus Sasha etc were already coming down from London so it would take the piss if i decided to stay in my yard as they would've have known where to go.

I was gonna take my camcorder then when I saw the weather I thought fuck that this shit aint insured so if it gets wet thats that! So anywayz walked out to meet them in KFC had to put on my wellies cuz it was raining cats and dogs and seeing as I aint actually eating chicken anymore I just had chips.

So we all walked to meet the floats (which were taking their time) so I thought forget this lets jus go to my aunties and wait in the warm so thats what we did arrrr it was lovely, then just as we started to get comfy my cousin came flying in all soaked with her camera sayin they're on the main road. So we had to get dressed again and leave, we then bumped into my sister who was waiting for my other auntie and we stood under the buis shelter and watched the trucks go by. Now some people were dressed like they were in Trinidad carnival belly out and all that I was like dayuuum they must have some tuff skin!

So I was there minding my own business then the Vincy float went by and 2 Vincy guys came out of nowhere and jumped on me and Sasha I tried to run away but no such luck, even my sister didnt even try and save me lol. Anywayz all the trucks past now and the biggest 1 was last which was Funtyme now was there any sober people in that band....hhmmmm I dont think so, Nats was saying they were pissed before they reached and she was taking pics of them at the beginning and the girls were all bending over and liftin up their skirts... I'm sure the white folk thought it looked like 1 big orgy cuz they were goin nuts oh yeah and they even thought that the band had just flown in especially from the caribbean I was like nah they're all from London hehe! Everyone was getting jooked left right and centre sometimes even I didnt know where to put my eyes lol but they all looked like they were having fun and they had the most followers. But i saw a lot of people throwing up and all that so I'm sure they'll be banned next year (which is really gay as they are the biggest band and bring the most supporters with them) but yeah as I said b4 the chairlady don't fuck about so I'm sure they're gone....

Oh yeah I gave a copy of my magazine to Martin Jay who looked as interested in it as I would be in a Star trek book lol I'm sure he didnt read it, but at least I gave it to him.

Oh and cuz I'm technically on the committee I got free food and free drink which was great, i also got myself a Magnum seeing as it's tonic wine and has iron in it :-) then we breezed off back to my flat to get ready to London.

Today was a good day...

I went on like a tour of London or something it was mad. The weather was lovely but I sweated my tits off even tho I had on a very minimal amount of clothing;-) and why is it that sunglasses make you sweat like a criminal????

Anywayz I followed my mum to Londres (as I'm always happy to get out of Reading) and we needed to get to Hackney (which I found out later wasn't even Hackney we actually went to Leyton) but yeah we decided to rely on the Sat Nav, why why why?????? it took us thru sum random places up here down here turn around touch your toes kinda shit. We was about to give up when I realized we were in Camden so I knew my way to Hackney from there. I know it sounds evil but did you know they have gated communities down them sides LOLLLLLLL sorry it's not funny but it is kinda I thought that same thing when I saw the gated communities go up in Peckham.

Anywayz looked down some place called Brick something like Brick arms or Brick layers or some place, it was strange almost like a different country strange vibe down there I didn't really wanna be walking round there too long.

After East we then headed south to Peckham where I stuffed my face at my sisters yard then ended up West in Fulham. I don't think I stopped drinking at all today at everyones yard we stopped at I had some alcohol now I'm really worried about my liver. Ooooh and I had a keebab that tasted of chesse yuk yuk yuk like whats going on there how can it possibly taste cheesy errrr I feel sick!

Wheres the A/C

SO after the shoot with UU we went to some socA rave down Balham. We just walked pastthe long que and kinda jus breezed in cuz Sasha knew the guy who organised it. Got a lot of funny looks but oh well, we don't do ques LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLl
Anywayz we got in there now and the heat just hit me I've never sweated so much in my life I tried to dance then my jeans just got stuck to my legs and I couldnt really move after that. My legs my back my arms y feet everywhere was sweating WOW. It was 1 of them 1s where you wish you could take off all your clothes. The people kept opening the door for like 5mins at a time so we cud get some air but as soon as they closed it it went str8 bak to being boilin again. I was wiping the sweat off my face then as soon as i'd dun that my face was dripping again and you know how much i hate sweating so it really was irritating. It was so nice to leave and be outside in the cold lol.

Then there was some drama outside with some yutes and a bottle I was like this is why you are supposed to be over 18 to go out at night... I'm sooo fed up with yutes ruining raves for other ppl they don't know how to act it's like stay ur ass at home if u aint comin out to enjoy yourself!

The weekend

How nice was the weather this weekend it was the perfect weekend to do a photoshoot. We did it on saturday and sunday at various places around London. BOth looks were completely different and all the models worked really hard they didnt even need much direction. I did the make up, I'm reALLy into make up now, it's my new thing. The photoshoots did draw a lot of attention which was good and people were asking about the mag. I had so much fun and my photographer is brilliant I was like WOW at each picture she knew where to shoot and where the models should stand etc we had a huge reflector etc so we looked proper pro so thats why people were stopping and cars were beeping there was a few near car accidents (cuz ppl were 2 busy starin at the models) but it went well.

We did a shoot with Underground Unit around midnight and they are soooo loud I didnt realize they were so loud cuz at the launch party they all seemed pretty quiet. So we were all shocked, like WOW they all speak lol. They're so funny, very entertaining but they all know what they're doing.

We was meant to have a BBQ on the saturday, we went ALDI and brought like a mini BBQ for £2.99 then as soon as we went on the balcony to start it we saw next doors killa dog jump up on the wall and it was just starin at us and u know blk folk dont really do dogs so we had to give it a miss. But we had it on the Sunday after the shoot and it was great. BBQ chicken and rum cocktails yum yum yum :-)

Got my pics done 2day

The photographer from the newspaper came round today to take my pics. He was like early and me (running on BMT) was not even nearly ready when he arrived. Lucky my mum arrived at the same time as him so she just keep him company and chatted his ear off while I got my hair and make up right :-) So I wore my fav pair of skinny jeans and had a huge coif or quif (however you spell that damn word) I looked pretty rockstar chic lol So we took the pics on my balcony seeing as the sun was out. I had to sit down with my big FU sign behind me and hold up my magazines. The photographer was like big smile, then my mum joined in 'go on Jade big smile' like I'm at primary school getting my 1st ever school pic done. I was like *with a diva attitude* I don't do smiles with bare teeth, did anyone listen....ummm... NO! noone paid attention to my diva moment so I had to smile, so them pics must look like high grade cheese, I know I aint gonna like them I've never done such a cheesy thing in my life. Plus I have small eyes already so when I smile normally my eyes like dissappear.

Then he did some pics using the flash and I know for a fact my eyes were closed in all of those, I'm rubbish with flashes I always end up looking drunk or like i'm daydreaming and in awe of something lol I can't help it I do try, cuz it's always me who spoils the photo, everyone looks happy and all bright eyed and I'll be there looking like I'm in a deep sleep.

But other than that it was a cool experience, hopefully not the last. Well actually maybe next time I'll use models to rep FU cuz although I do like seeing pics of myself (when I go out with the girlies) on a normal day I aint really into it, I'll get all shy and then my attention gets divirted real quick. But I dunno when it's gonna be printed, hopefully Monday/tuesday wooohoooo so if you're in the Thames Valley area pick up a copy of the Evening Post :-)

Karma is a bitch

So you see the stuf I was saying about Ginuwine not staying at the event last thursday well my girl told me that he took himself off to Birmingham and gave them a full show there and guess what aprently he got jacked! Now as bad as that is and I wouldnt wish that on anyone I can't help but thinking what goes around comes around (if thats correct) if he was evil to the little uni people maybe this wouldnt have happened Damn Karmas a bitch init. Poor Ginuwine

Ginuwine is a Prick!!!

Me and my girl got invited to Club Wembly to a night called History lastnight, I organised some models etc the models were supposed to be onstage with Ginuwine (who was supposed to perform) we were really looking forward it as none of us have been out on a weekday for ages. So we finally found the club but because of the 1 way system we had to drive like around the world just to get to it. Because we were looking for the correct turn off we mustve cut up some next car, who were like 'OI what you doing?!" we was like sorry. Anywayz when they looked inside the car\they decided to pull up alongside my friends car and drive slowly and try it. I was like 'Are you even old enuff to be driving, you can't even see over the steering wheel lol' so after they'd finished asking for our numbers etc they finally got the hint and said bye :-)
We got in the club now and the woman on the door didnt know who we were, I was like we're on the list, you just let in a whole heap of my models, then she was like oh ok and let us thru. Walked thru to the main stage area and it was empty I was like whats goin on then I saw Naija Boy (1 of the ppl who organised it) who told me about all the things that had gone wrong that night. I felt sooo sorry for him and he kept apologising I was like, it's OK these things happen you just learn from them init. 2 lost coaches were the reason why the venue wasn't full.But we were like do u know what we're gonna make the most of it and stay and show our support cuz it's always good to support ur fellow blk folk when they're trying to do something good.

I saw one of my models Sherri who told me she saw the back of Ginuwine when he was leaving I then came to find out that he had stayed all of 15mins and sang 1 song and breezed although he was paid to stay longer and do a photoshoot. What an ass why not just stay and show love to people trying to organise an event. He's sooo dumb and it's not like he's like the best singer ever when was the last time he released like a hit single and was number 1 anywhere, FOOOL!

But aside from that they played some really good music and the people who stayed to support all seemed to enjoy themselves and every1 was dancing and having a good time, they played bashment, a lil bit funky house,rnb etc I was starting to get into it when someone came on the mic and was like 'OK this is the last song' we was like Whats goin on now??? it turns out there was sum longness with the security (basically they were being greedy) so the event had to be cut short and we all had to go home.

What takes the piss is that it had the potential to be a really successful event but i guess it's like when it rains it pours and someone really jinxed them ppl poor things. But I'm sure the next thing they put on will be a huge success and FU will def go and show support :-)

The weekend

So the girlies came up and we went to the guy who Djed at my launch parties bday party (if that makes sense) it was down Santis (or sumthin) it was ok, they played 2 ,much house and garage which really killed me cuz I'm a soca head ooh and bashment 2. We had so much to drink b4 we left the yard and it was bloody freezin that night. The drinks inside the venue were muy caro my girl got me a tequila and it cost £4 was shit is that! Anywayz ended up gettin a blk cab home the driver was sooo jolly lol
The next day I woke up drunk and staggering and managed to somehow spill a glass of water on myself and take out a chair and fall off the sofa. So now I really aint drinkin again ever (well not untill the next set of hols in May) yeah May bank hols I've gotta go Reading Carnival (seeing as I'm on the committee) and then Cocoyea at Scala after that. I aint doin no more ravin or drinkin in between. I can't remember the last time I was so drunk it actually carried over to the next day. Maybe I'm gettin 2 old for this shit.
