I kinda miss uni

When I was there I couldn't wait to finish but now that I've finished I wish I was still there. I reckon uni is like the best thing ever, even if the job you're looking don't require a degree or you don't know what you wanna do, go to uni for the experience if anything. You get to meet new people and learn things and soak up peoples knowledge. In some of my classes (I did a module in black history studies or something to that effect in my 2nd year) I had like the 18 year olds all the way up to my mums age and everyone got along it was cool to just be around lots of different people who shared the same interest. I would've thought it would just be black people in there but there was all sorts of people I remember there was this white guy who knew more than me about certain subjects like he was proper up on his black history and politics and he prob likes big black booty too LOL.

Also at uni you get the chance to go on a foreign exchange even if you aint studying a language like I did) cuz I studied spanish I wanted to go University in Cuba but something bad happened over there and my uni wouldn't let me go but they were like 'you can go Argentina' I wasn't really interested in going there so I thought let me just go to Spain. If your uni is like mine they actually like pay you to go, it's good. I used my money for my rent out there. I went with y girl Sasha, it's strange cuz we didnt really know eachother b4 that we used to talk at uni but that was about it we took exactly the same subjects so we just clicked. But she seemed so quiet but when we stayed together I realized she's quite the opposite LOL.

Anywayz uni is fun, oh yeah in my final year I even got to go Barbados for 1 month to do my final year thesis. I did it on censorship and the media industry in Barbados that was a lot of fun and I actually got work done. So my point is go to uni, you may not think it's good for you now but you'll see the benefits when you finish. Plus if you're at uni and not working your parents will tolerate it more than if you're just at home not studying and unemployed.
