why is there so much shit music around at the moment?

Every so often someone releases something good but at the moment theres sooo much shit that i cant bare to listen to. Ive seen/heard a lot of goof shit on the net so i dont get why theese ppl ait getting signed, it seems that if your shit and wanna put out follow fashion shit and immitate ppl then you get a record deal real easy *smh*
