I've wanted to see it for years and Friday I finally got to see it. Me my mum and my sister went to watch it at the Lyceum it was great they even opened the disabled toilets for me cuz I've got cructhes :-) Oh also on the bus on the way there some guy jumped out his seat to let me sit down (how nice) then some old woman came on the bus glaring at me, like she wanted me to move so she could sit down, I was like sory i'm 7months preggers and on crutches I aint moving for no one! and if shes able enuff to take her ass to tescos and carry 10million heavy bags and be on public transport then shes able enuff to stand. If i was old I'd go shoppin early (when normal old ppl go shopping then theres always seats on the bus) or i'd get someone to give me a lift or get a readibus (i dunno if u get them in London tho...maybe theres a london equivilent)
Anywayz back to The Lion King OMG I cried from the very beginning, the part where everyones singing and comes in is really overwhelming I loved it and when I wasn't crying I was sitting with my mouth wide open like WOW.
1st of all I did have 2 big head people sitting in front of me so i had to swap seats wiv my mum then the big head people left half way thru (why? them tickets aint cheap!) so there was a nice clear view for everyone.
Oh OK now onto the annoying part, some black folk r sooo dumb it's like they don't know how to act in certain situations, likeif i was ghetto I would know to leave my ghettoness and fukt up attitude at home if i'm going to a theatre. So I'm waiting by the toilets and a group of black people walk in (late) and al go out of their way to screw me, then one girl in the group had on the same dress as me and just kept watching me, I was thinking yes ok we have on the same Primark dress, but I'm wearing mine better than you so get over it.
So on the way in to take our seats they once again were watching me, then in the interval they decided to stand in the way so my sister moved a few people like hello someones on crutches I need more room than a normal person to pass thru. Anywayz instead of enjoying their interval drink they all screwed me again then one of the guys made some bitchy comment about my green hair and the fact that I was on crutches I just glared at him like your fukin idiot and u look older than me I wanted to hit him wiv my crutches my sister was like just ignore it plus i'd look as ignorant as them. I was thinking how can these people be so threatened by me maybe they thought I was famous LOL
But seriously like these people were not yutes they were around my age up to around 30ish so old enuff tohave some sense. It's like the theatre was full of white people we're the minority andyou wanna act so backwards and unless you look better than me don't be looking me up and down like err who are you?
